Busy Friday then FnwFs....

I got up early and drove into Geraldton to visit DD, GD, GDIL and the four GGC....

then in the afternoon it was off to the dentist for my annual check up and before driving home I did some grocery shopping...

After dinner I decided I needed to iron the pile of placemats and rug mugs  before sitting down in the Cave to join  Cheryll and friends for FnwFs

I only managed to get the borders onto " Fernhill " by Lynette Anderson

and two onto my "Monsters" by Toni form Red Boot Company

Hope to join in again later this evening and sew along with my Northern Hemisphere friends...

Happy Stitching ,

Hugz Maria :)

  3. I'd have been too exhausted to sew anything after your busy day! You must be very good at planning to get that all done in a day.

  6. Sounded like you had a busy day, that road looks like a long straight road to nowhere!! 😀 Well done with the sewing, getting borders on is one step in what needs to be done, ai think I would have been lounging on the couch after a busy day like yours.

  13. Sounds like you got a fair bit done, Maria. How lovely catching up with the family. Although I don't know if the dentist part would have been very enjoyable!

  14. A sewing session at the end of an active day helps you calm down for the night!

  15. Sometimes life just gets in the way! Placemats! I need to make some new ones! During the spring before I left Tx, I made my daughter new ones from upcycled denim and assorted batiks. They were quick, easy, and awfully pretty.
